How to Draw a Kebab No Skewer
Draw a kebab no skewer in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Draw a big oval plate that nearly fills the page. Draw a second oval just inside it.
Step 2: A flatbread
Inside the plate draw a big soft oval with a slightly wobbly edge, for the flatbread.
Tip The kebabs lie on a warm flatbread.
Step 3: The front kebab
On the bread draw a long fat sausage shape with round ends, tilting up to the right.
Tip This kebab is minced meat pressed into a log.
Step 4: The back kebab
Just above, draw a second one tucked behind the first. Start and stop on the front kebab.
Step 5: Grill marks
Draw 4 short curved lines across each kebab, evenly spaced, from edge to edge.
Step 6: Tomato wedges
Under the kebabs draw 2 tomato wedges like little hills, one tucked behind the other, with a curve inside each.
Step 7: Onion slivers
Beside the tomato, on the left, draw 2 thin curved slivers of onion, one inside the other.
Step 8: Parsley
Start just right of the kebabs. Draw a short stem up to the right and stop. Add 3 bumpy leaves.
Step 9: Sky blue plate
Go over your lines. Colour the plate sky blue, around the flatbread.
Step 10: Tan flatbread
Colour the flatbread tan, around the kebabs, tomatoes, onion and parsley.
Step 11: Red and green
Colour the tomato wedges red and the parsley leaves green. Leave the onion white.
Step 12: Brown kebabs
Colour both kebabs brown.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a kebab no skewer, drawn by you.
