How to Draw a Kawaii Alpaca
Draw a kawaii alpaca in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round head.
Step 1: Round head
Near the top left, draw a big round head, a little narrower at the top.
Tip Leave room above the head for the fluffy hair.
Step 2: Fluffy topknot
On top of the head, draw a fluffy cloud of hair with 7 round bumps.
Step 3: Sparkly eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 tall ovals. Colour them black, leaving 2 white shines in each.
Tip Put the big shine at the top left of both eyes.
Step 4: Pointy ears
Beside the topknot, draw 2 pointy ears standing up. Draw a small ear shape inside each.
Step 5: Muzzle and smile
Under the eyes, draw an oval muzzle. Add a tiny black nose, a short line and a smile.
Tip Keep the nose and smile tiny.
Step 6: Long neck
Start under the head. Draw 2 long neck lines down, leaning right. Stop one head lower.
Tip A long neck is what makes it an alpaca.
Step 7: Woolly body
From the neck, draw a long fluffy cloud body with round bumps all the way round.
Step 8: 2 short legs
Under the body, draw a short front leg and a short back leg. Add a hoof line across each.
Step 9: Far legs
Draw 2 thinner legs between them, with hoof lines. Draw a long ground line under all 4 feet.
Step 10: Fluffy tail
At the back of the body, draw a small fluffy tail with round bumps.
Step 11: Pink cheeks and ears
Colour a pink oval on each cheek. Colour the insides of the ears pink.
Step 12: Cream wool
Colour the topknot, neck, body, tail and muzzle cream. Leave the face white for now.
Step 13: Light brown face
Colour the face, ears and legs light brown, around the muzzle. Colour the hooves dark brown.
