How to Draw a Christmas Pig
Draw a Christmas pig in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big soft head.
Step 1: Big soft head
On the left, draw a big soft head, a bit fatter at the bottom. Leave room on the right.
Tip Leave room above it for a hat.
Step 2: Santa hat
On top of the head, draw a fat curved band. Add a hat flopping right, with a round bobble.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the band.
Step 3: Bright eyes
A little left of the middle, draw 2 oval eyes. Add a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 4: Snout and smile
Under the left eye, draw an oval snout poking past the head, with 2 nostrils. Add a smile beside it.
Tip The smile starts on the bottom of the snout.
Step 5: Pointy ears
Under each end of the hat band, draw a pointed ear leaning out. The left ear is smaller.
Step 6: Round back
Start behind the head, below the ear. Draw a round back, curve down the bottom and stop halfway down.
Tip The back is one smooth curve.
Step 7: Chest and leg
Draw a ground line. From under the chin, draw the chest down to a hoof and back up.
Tip A hoof is a small block with a split for 2 toes.
Step 8: Tummy, back leg
From the front leg, draw the tummy across, then a back leg down to a hoof and up to the bottom.
Step 9: Far legs
Behind each leg, draw one more leg peeking out. Start on the tummy and stop on the ground.
Tip The far hooves stand on the ground line too.
Step 10: Curly tail
Start on the round bottom. Draw a short line out, then curl it round and round.
Step 11: Peach and pink
Colour the snout peach. Colour the pig pink around it. Leave the eyes, hat and hooves white.
Step 12: Red hat, brown hooves
Colour the hat red but leave its band and bobble white. Colour the 4 hooves brown.
