How to Draw an England Flag
Draw an england flag in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: pole and ground.
Step 1: Pole and ground
Draw a tall thin pole on the left, a ball on top, and a ground line from edge to edge.
Step 2: The waving flag
Start on the pole below the ball. Draw a wavy top edge, a straight right side, a wavy bottom edge.
Tip Make the bottom edge copy the wave of the top edge.
Step 3: Top left corner
Start on the top edge, left of the middle. Draw down, then turn left and wave across to the pole.
Tip Each corner is like a letter L. The gap left between the 4 corners is the cross.
Step 4: Top right corner
Start on the top edge, right of the middle. Draw down, then turn right and wave across to the side.
Step 5: Bottom left corner
Start on the bottom edge, left of the middle. Draw up, then turn left and wave across to the pole.
Step 6: Bottom right corner
Start on the bottom edge, right of the middle. Draw up, then turn right and wave across to the side.
Tip Keep both arms of the cross the same width.
Step 7: Wind lines
Off the right edge of the flag draw 3 short wind lines.
Step 8: Yellow ball
Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow.
Step 9: Grey pole
Colour the pole grey.
Step 10: Red cross
Colour the big cross red and leave the 4 corners white. Go over your lines. Your England flag is waving!
Tip Colour the red right up to the lines, with no white gaps.
