Print

  1. Step 1: Spider head

Just left of the middle of your paper draw a round head, as big as a plum.

Tip Leave the right side of the page for the tall water spout.

  2. Step 2: Tummy and thread

Draw a tall round tummy above the head. From its top draw a thread up, stopping near the page top.

  3. Step 3: Big eyes

In the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes with black dots. Add a tiny eye above each.

  4. Step 4: Smile and fangs

Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile and stop under the right eye. Hang 2 tiny fangs.

  5. Step 5: Water spout

On the right draw a tall pipe from the top edge. Bend it left at the bottom, then back up.

  6. Step 6: Top legs

From each side of the head draw a bent leg going up and out to a point, then back in.

  7. Step 7: Second legs

A finger under the top leg draw the second bent leg on each side, going out and a little up.

  8. Step 8: Third and bottom legs

Level with the eyes draw the third leg on each side. By the cheeks draw the last leg, going down.

  9. Step 9: Rain and sun

Draw 4 falling raindrops in the sky. Near the top-left corner draw a round sun with 6 short rays.

  10. Step 10: Yellow sun, blue rain

Go over your lines. Colour the sun yellow and the raindrops sky blue.

  11. Step 11: Grey water spout

Colour the water spout grey, from the top all the way down and round the bend.

  12. Step 12: Purple spider

Add 2 pink cheeks. Colour the head, tummy and 8 legs purple around them. Leave the eyes and fangs white.
