How to Draw an Iceberg
Draw an iceberg in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the water line.
Step 1: The water line
A little below the middle draw a long straight line from edge to edge. That is the sea top.
Step 2: The ice mountain
Start on the water line. Zigzag up to a tall peak, then a lower peak, and drop to the line.
Tip An iceberg is all sharp corners, like broken glass.
Step 3: Under the water
Start at the left foot. Draw a bigger jagged shape hanging down to a point. End at the right foot.
Tip Most of an iceberg hides under the water!
Step 4: Snow cap
Across the tall peak draw a row of 3 big bumps from slope to slope for the snow.
Step 5: The sun
In the top right corner draw a small round sun with 8 short rays.
Step 6: A cloud
In the top left draw a small puffy cloud with 4 bumps on top and 2 underneath.
Step 7: Little waves
In each bottom corner of the sea, away from the ice, draw a short wavy line.
Step 8: Yellow sun
Colour the sun yellow. Leave the cloud and the ice above the water white.
Step 9: Sky blue under water
Colour the ice under the water sky blue.
Step 10: Blue sea
Colour the sea blue, going around the iceberg, all the way to the edges. Your iceberg is done!

Your finished drawing
