How to Draw a Fondue
Draw a fondue in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little above the middle draw a wide flat oval for the top of the pot, full of melted cheese.
Step 2: The pot
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big round U down and up to the right end.
Step 3: A handle
On the right, under the rim, start on the pot. Curve out in a fat loop, back to the pot.
Step 4: Cheese drips
Draw 2 cheese drips over the front of the rim, one long, one short. Rub out the rim inside each.
Tip Gooey cheese dribbles over the edge.
Step 5: The stand
Under the pot draw 2 short legs leaning out, one on each side, starting on the bottom of the pot.
Step 6: A burner
Between the legs draw a flat burner. From its left go up to a flame point, back to its right.
Step 7: A fondue fork
From the top right draw a long thin fork leaning down into the cheese, with bread on its end.
Step 8: Steam
A little above the rim, draw 2 wiggly steam lines going up, side by side.
Step 9: The table
Under the legs, draw a long straight table line from left to right.
Step 10: Yellow cheese, tan bread
Go over your lines, then colour the cheese and drips yellow and the bread tan.
Step 11: Orange flame, grey stand
Colour the flame orange, then the fork, legs and burner grey.
Step 12: Red pot
Colour the pot and its handle red, around the drips.
