How to Draw High Heel Boots
Draw high heel boots in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: ground and front boot.
Step 1: Ground and front boot
Draw a ground line. Above it draw a tall boot facing left: pointed toe on the ground, heel end lifted.
Tip The back of the foot sits much higher than the toe.
Step 2: Thin sole
Under the boot draw a thin sole, from the toe up along the arch to the back.
Tip Keep the sole thin, like a ribbon.
Step 3: High heel
Under the back of the sole draw a tall heel, wide at the top and narrow at the ground.
Tip The heel leans in a little as it goes down.
Step 4: The back boot
Behind the first boot, to the right and a little higher, draw the second boot. Only draw what peeks out.
Step 5: Top bands
Just below each boot's top, draw a line across. Start at one edge and stop at the other.
Step 6: The zips
On each boot draw a zip: a straight line from the band down to the ankle.
Tip Use a ruler if you like.
Step 7: Zip pulls
At the top of each zip, just under the band, draw a small oval zip pull.
Tip Make both pulls the same size.
Step 8: Yellow zip pulls
Go over your lines. Colour the 2 zip pulls yellow.
Step 9: Red boots
Colour both boots red, around the zip pulls. Leave the soles and heels white for now.
Step 10: Grey soles and heels
Colour the 2 soles and the 2 heels slate grey. Your high heel boots are done!
