How to Draw Heels
Draw heels in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: ground and top edge.
Step 1: Ground and top edge
Draw a ground line. Start at a pointy toe on the left and curve up to a tall back.
Tip The top edge sags in the middle like a hammock.
Step 2: Heel and sole
Start at the back. Draw a tall thin heel down to the ground. Arch the sole back to the toe.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes on the toe, an eye apart. Add a black dot in each with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The opening
Start on the top edge behind the face. Draw a dipping curve under it and stop at the back corner.
Step 6: The sole line
Start just above the toe tip. Draw a line a finger above the bottom edge and stop on the heel.
Step 7: Heel cap
Near the bottom of the heel draw a short line across it for the little rubber cap.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars around the shoe: left, above and right.
Step 9: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines. Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Red shoe
Colour the shoe red around the cheeks, but not the opening or the sole. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Dark opening, navy sole
Colour the opening dark grey, and the sole and heel cap navy. Your high heel is done!
