How to Draw a Handprint Reindeer
Draw a handprint reindeer in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
In the middle of your paper, draw a big fat egg with a flat top. It is really a palm!
Tip The fingers will be antlers and the thumb is an ear.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big round eyes a good gap apart, each with a black dot. Add a big round nose.
Step 3: A smile
Under the nose, draw a small U smile. Start under one side of the nose and stop under the other.
Step 4: The left ear
Start on the top left of the head. Draw a fat thumb leaning out left, back to the head.
Step 5: The right ear
Start at the top right of the head. Draw a smaller ear leaning up and out, back to the head.
Step 6: Middle antler
Start on top of the head, above the left eye. Draw a tall finger up and back to the head.
Step 7: More antlers
Draw a shorter antler on each side of the middle one. Start and stop each one on the head.
Step 8: Last antler
On the far right, draw the shortest antler, leaning out a bit. Start and stop on the head.
Step 9: Neck, collar, bell
Start under the chin. Draw a short neck down to a ground line. Add a collar and a bell.
Step 10: Tan antlers
Colour the 4 antlers tan.
Step 11: Red nose, yellow bell
Colour the bell yellow, and the nose and the collar red.
Step 12: Brown head and ears
Colour the head, ears and neck brown, around the nose, collar and bell. Leave the eyes white. All done!
