How to Draw Hades
Draw Hades in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room above the head for hair and a crown.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 big oval eyes below the middle of the head. Add a U nose, a smile and 2 eyebrows.
Step 3: Hair and crown
From the left jaw, draw curly hair over the head down to the right jaw. Put a crown on top.
Tip Draw a hairline inside it, above the eyebrows and beside the eyes.
Step 4: Curly beard
From the left hair, draw a bumpy beard round the chin to the right hair, under the smile.
Step 5: The robe
From under the beard, draw soft sloping shoulders and short sleeves, then a long robe out to a wide hem.
Tip Add a belt line at the waist and a slanting fold line.
Step 6: Arms
From each sleeve, draw a thinning arm. Bend the right one at a round elbow in to the tummy.
Step 7: Hands
Draw a round fist on the right wrist. From the left wrist, draw a mitten hand back to it.
Step 8: Two-prong staff
Start below the fist. Draw a long staff up past the shoulder, ending in 2 sharp prongs.
Step 9: Sandals and ground
Under the hem, draw 2 feet on flat soles, toes pointing out. Add a strap on each and the ground.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour pink cheeks, then the face, arms, hands and feet peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey crown, slate robe
Colour the crown and staff grey, then the robe slate grey around the staff and arms.
Step 12: Black hair, brown sandals
Colour the soles and straps brown, then the hair and beard black. Your Hades is done!
