How to Draw Guacamole
Draw guacamole in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little below the middle draw a wide flat oval, about a hand across, for the top of the bowl.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big U down and up to the right end.
Step 3: The foot
Under the bowl draw a short stand: start on the bottom left, go down, across, and up to the right.
Step 4: Heap of guacamole
From the rim's left end, draw 6 big soft lumps over to its right end. Rub out the rim inside.
Tip A lumpy green dome, like mashed avocado.
Step 5: A chip
On the right of the heap draw a big triangle chip standing up, starting and ending on the heap.
Step 6: Chunky bits
On the heap draw 4 tiny tilted ovals here and there for chunks of avocado.
Step 7: A stripe
Draw a bowed line round the bowl under the rim, starting on the left and stopping on the right.
Step 8: A zigzag
Under the stripe draw a zigzag across the bowl, from the left side to the right side.
Step 9: Table and another chip
Draw a table line under the foot from left to right. On the right draw a second chip lying flat.
Step 10: Tan chips, white bowl
Go over your lines. Colour both chips tan and leave the bowl white.
Step 11: Green guacamole
Colour the chunky bits light green, then the heap green around them.
Step 12: Blue stripe
Colour the band between the stripe and the rim blue.
