How to Draw a Golfer
Draw a golfer in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Just below the middle, draw 2 big round eyes with dots and shines. Add a U nose and a smile.
Step 3: Hair and visor
Draw a band and curved brim on the forehead. From its left end, draw bumpy hair to its right end.
Step 4: Neck and polo shirt
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a short-sleeved shirt, ending at the right one. Add 2 buttons.
Step 5: Arms
From each sleeve draw an arm that bends a little at the elbow. The arms meet low in front.
Tip Make each arm a little thinner at the wrist than at the sleeve.
Step 6: Hands on the club
Draw a fist where the arms meet. From it draw a club slanting down left, ending in a flat head.
Step 7: Ball on a tee
In front of the club head draw a little round golf ball sitting on a tiny peg.
Step 8: Checked trousers
Start at the shirt's bottom left corner. Draw 2 long trouser legs, ending at its bottom right corner. Add checks.
Step 9: Shoes and ground
Under each leg draw a shoe, toes pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the shoes, past the ball.
Step 10: The flag
On the right, start on the ground. Draw a stick up, stopping level with the tummy. Add a triangle flag.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arms and hands peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Keep the eyes white.
Step 12: Red polo, slate club
Colour the shirt, visor and flag red, around the arms. Colour the club slate grey.
Step 13: Navy trousers, brown shoes
Colour the trousers navy, around the arms, hands and club. Colour the shoes and hair brown.
