How to Draw a Golf Flag
Draw a golf flag in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ball.
Step 1: The ball
On the left of your paper, a little below the middle, draw one round circle for the ball.
Tip Leave room on the right for the tall flag.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the ball draw 2 big round eyes, with a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile, stopping under the right eye. Add a cheek each side.
Step 4: Dimples
Near the top right of the ball, draw 3 tiny circles for dimples.
Step 5: The pole
Start high up on the right. Draw a tall thin pole, 2 lines down to level with the ball's bottom.
Step 6: The flag
Start near the top of the pole. Draw a flag out to a point, back to the pole lower down.
Step 7: A big 1
On the flag draw a tall 1: a short slanted tick and a straight line down.
Step 8: The hole
At the bottom of the pole draw a flat oval for the hole, with the pole standing in it.
Step 9: Ground and grass
Draw a ground line edge to edge under the ball, skipping the hole. Add 3 grass blades near each end.
Step 10: Yellow pole, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the pole yellow and the cheeks pink. Leave the ball and eyes white.
Step 11: Grey hole
Colour the hole grey, around the bottom of the yellow pole.
Step 12: Red flag
Colour the flag red, and your golf flag is ready for a hole in one!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a golf flag, drawn by you.
