How to Draw a Goalie Mask
Draw a goalie mask in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the mask.
Step 1: The mask
In the middle of your paper draw a big rounded helmet, like a tall egg, narrower at the chin.
Step 2: The face area
Inside the mask draw a smaller egg shape for the face hole, a bit below the forehead.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the face hole draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small flat cheek beside each eye.
Step 5: The cage bars
Draw bars from edge across to edge: one above the eyes, 2 under the smile, 2 down beside the face.
Step 6: Painted flames
On the forehead draw a zigzag of flames: start on the left edge, stop on the right edge.
Step 7: Chin guard
Under the mask draw the chin guard: start on the left side, curve under the chin, stop on the right.
Step 8: Cage clips
At each end of the 2 longest bars across, draw a small rounded box: the clips that hold the cage.
Step 9: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a straight ground line and stop near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Orange flames, grey chin
Leave the face hole and eyes white. Colour the flames orange, and the chin guard and clips grey.
Step 13: Red mask
Go over your lines, then colour the mask red around the face hole, the flames and the clips.

Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a goalie mask, drawn by you.
