How to Draw a Girl
Draw a girl in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the dress and legs.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle draw 2 eyes with black dots and a lash on each. Add a U nose, smile, brows.
Step 3: Hair and fringe
Start on the left of the head. Draw hair over the top, down to the right, then a fringe across.
Step 4: Pigtails
Start on the hair by each temple. Draw a teardrop bunch down past the cheek and back to the hair.
Step 5: Bows
On top of each pigtail draw a little bow: a round knot with a loop on each side.
Step 6: Neck and dress
Start under the chin with 2 neck lines. Draw a short-sleeved dress flaring down to the hem. Add a belt.
Step 7: Arms and mittens
Start at each sleeve, draw the arm down, round a mitten with a thumb, and back up to the sleeve.
Tip Keep a little gap between the arm and the dress.
Step 8: Legs
Start at the hem and draw 2 lines down each leg, out at the calf, and stop at the ankle.
Step 9: Shoes
Under each leg draw a round shoe with the toe pointing out.
Step 10: Ground line
Start left of the shoes and draw a long ground line under both, stopping past the right shoe.
Step 11: Yellow hair
Colour the hair, the fringe and the pigtails yellow.
Step 12: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arms, hands and legs peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Keep the eyes white.
Step 13: Dress, bows and shoes
Colour the bows and belt red, the dress purple and the shoes black. Your girl is done!
