How to Draw a Bear Fishing
Draw a bear fishing in 12 steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
Near the top of your paper, draw a big head, wider than tall, with fat round cheeks.
Tip The head is almost half of the whole bear.
Step 2: Round ears and tuft
Start and end on the head: draw 2 round ears with half circles inside, and a soft tuft on top.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 big round eyes close together. Colour black dots with white shines.
Step 4: Snout and nose
Under the eyes, draw 1 big wide oval poking past the chin. Near its top, draw a black triangle nose.
Step 5: Smile and tongue
From the nose, draw a line down to a wide W smile, ending inside the snout. Hang a U tongue.
Step 6: Round belly
Start under the left cheek. Draw a big pear body, back up to the right cheek.
Tip The body is narrower than the head.
Step 7: The fish
On the tummy, draw a fish standing on its V tail, pointy head up. Add an eye and a mouth.
Step 8: Hugging arms
Under each cheek, draw a fat arm down to a round paw on the fish. Add 2 toe lines.
Step 9: Legs and feet
Start halfway down each side of the belly. Draw a round C leg out, with a flat foot under it.
Step 10: Toes and ground
On the end of each foot, draw 3 short toe lines. Then draw a ground line under both feet.
Step 11: Tan snout, pink tongue
Colour the snout and the inside of each ear tan, and the tongue pink.
Step 12: Blue fish, brown fur
Go over your lines. Colour the fish blue, then the bear brown, around the snout, inner ears and fish.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
