How to Draw a Get Well Text

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a get well text in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: g, e and t.

Print

  1. Step 1: G, E and T

Above the middle of your paper, starting on the left, write GET in fat bubble letters.

Tip Write each letter thin first, draw a fat line round it, then rub out the thin one.

  2. Step 2: WELL underneath

Under it write WELL in fat bubble letters: a wide W, an E and 2 Ls.

  3. Step 3: A little heart

Beside the words draw a little heart: start at the top dip, round and down to the point, and back.

  4. Step 4: 2 big eyes

On the heart draw 2 big round eyes close together. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a white speck.

  5. Step 5: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a tiny sideways oval beside each end for rosy cheeks.

  6. Step 6: Sparkles

Draw 4 sparkle stars in the corners round the words.

  7. Step 7: The floor

Start left of the W. Draw a straight floor line along the bottom of WELL, stopping past the last L.

  8. Step 8: Yellow sparkles

Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow.

  9. Step 9: Teal GET

Colour the letters of GET teal, keeping inside their outlines.

  10. Step 10: Blue WELL

Colour the letters of WELL blue, keeping inside their outlines.

  11. Step 11: Red heart, pink cheeks

Colour the cheeks pink, then the heart red around the face, leaving the eyes white. Your sign is done!
