How to Draw a Gerbera Daisy
Draw a gerbera daisy in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the middle.
Step 1: The middle
Near the top, draw a round circle for the middle, about as big as a plum.
Step 2: Top petals
Start on the circle's top. Draw a slim round-tipped petal back to the circle. Do 4 more round the top.
Step 3: Bottom petals
Draw the same slim petals round the bottom half, so 10 petals go all the way round like a clock.
Step 4: Short petals between
Between every 2 long petals, draw a shorter round-tipped petal, about half as long.
Tip Two rings of petals make it look fluffy and full.
Step 5: Inner circle
Inside the middle circle, draw a smaller circle, leaving a thin ring all the way round.
Step 6: The stem
Start under the bottom petal. Draw 2 lines down to near the bottom, getting a little wider apart.
Step 7: Two leaves
From the bottom of the stem, draw a long wavy leaf out left and back. Do the right.
Step 8: Ground and grass
Draw a ground line under the stem, nearly edge to edge. Add 2 small grass blades far out each side.
Step 9: Yellow ring
Colour the thin ring round the middle yellow.
Step 10: Orange petals
Colour all the petals orange, the long ones and the short ones.
Step 11: Brown middle, green stem
Colour the small middle brown, and the stem, leaves and grass green. Go over your lines.
