How to Draw a Gazebo

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a gazebo in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pointed roof.

Print

  1. Step 1: The pointed roof

Near the top of your paper draw a wide pointed roof like a big hat, with a nearly flat bottom.

  2. Step 2: The beam

Under the roof, draw a long thin box for the beam, starting and stopping just in from each end.

  3. Step 3: Four posts

Draw 4 tall thin posts, spaced out, from the beam down to where the floor will go.

  4. Step 4: The floor

Draw a thick floor box under the posts. From its bottom middle, draw a step, stopping on the bottom.

  5. Step 5: Two railings

On each side, draw a thin rail box halfway down, post to post. Add 3 short posts under it.

  6. Step 6: Roof lines and knob

Draw 2 lines down the roof from the point. From the point draw a short stick up to a ball.

  7. Step 7: Bushes and ground

Draw a round bumpy bush beside each end of the floor. Add the ground line right across under everything.

  8. Step 8: The sun

Draw a round sun with 8 short rays in the top right.

  9. Step 9: Yellow sun, green bushes

Colour the sun yellow and the two bushes green.

  10. Step 10: Wood floor

Colour the floor and the step wood brown. Leave the posts, beam and rails white.

  11. Step 11: Teal roof

Colour the roof and the little ball on top teal. Go over your lines and your gazebo is done!
