How to Draw a Fruit Kebab

14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw a fruit kebab in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the stick.

Print

  1. Step 1: The stick

Start low on the left. Draw a long thin stick up to the top right, ending in a point.

Tip Make it nearly as long as your page is wide.

  2. Step 2: Strawberry

Near the pointy end draw a strawberry on the stick: round at the back, a soft point at the front.

Tip Draw each fruit right over the stick, then rub out the stick inside it.

  3. Step 3: Orange slice

Just below the strawberry draw a circle on the stick for a slice of orange.

  4. Step 4: Pineapple chunk

Next draw a chunk of pineapple: a fat wedge with round corners, wider at its lower end.

Tip Leave a tiny gap between fruits so each one keeps its own shape.

  5. Step 5: Kiwi slice

Below the pineapple draw an oval for a slice of kiwi, a little taller than the orange.

Tip Kiwi is green, so it comes after yellow in the rainbow.

  6. Step 6: Two grapes

Below the kiwi draw 2 small ovals for grapes, one after the other. Leave some stick to hold.

  7. Step 7: Strawberry leaves

Across the round end of the strawberry draw a zigzag of 3 leaf points, from edge to edge.

Tip Start and stop the zigzag on the strawberry's outline.

  8. Step 8: Orange segments

Inside the orange draw a smaller circle. Cross it with 3 lines through the middle, like a wheel.

  9. Step 9: Pineapple lines

Along the pineapple chunk draw 2 lines that spread apart towards the wide end.

Tip Keep both lines inside the chunk.

  10. Step 10: Kiwi middle

In the middle of the kiwi draw a small oval, then 8 tiny seed dashes pointing out all around it.

  11. Step 11: The plate

Draw a big circle around all the fruit for a plate. Let both ends of the stick poke out.

Tip Turn your paper as you go to keep the circle round.

  12. Step 12: Yellow and orange

Go over your lines. Colour the pineapple yellow and the orange slice orange.

  13. Step 13: Green and red

Colour the kiwi and the strawberry leaves green and the strawberry red. Leave the kiwi's middle white.

  14. Step 14: Purple and brown

Colour the 2 grapes purple and the stick light brown. Leave the plate white.

Tip Your rainbow fruit kebab is done!
