How to Draw Frankenstein

13 steps · Medium · about 10 min

Draw Frankenstein in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Print

  1. Step 1: The head

Near the top of your paper draw a big head with a flat top and a round chin.

Tip Make it a bit more than half the page tall.

  2. Step 2: Two ears

On each side of the head draw a C ear, starting on the head line and stopping lower down.

  3. Step 3: Big eyes

Below the middle of the head draw 2 big tall eyes, one eye apart. Colour a black dot in each.

  4. Step 4: Nose and smile

Draw a tiny U nose between the eyes. Under it draw a wide smile with a curl at each end.

  5. Step 5: Eyebrows

Above each eye draw a short curved line like a little rainbow.

  6. Step 6: Flat hair

Start on the left by the ear. Draw over the flat top of the head and stop on the right.

  7. Step 7: Jagged fringe

Start at the same left point. Draw a zigzag across the forehead above the eyebrows, stopping on the right.

  8. Step 8: Stitches

On the forehead draw a slanted line with 3 tiny lines across. Add a short one on the left cheek.

  9. Step 9: Inside the ears

Inside each ear draw a smaller C that follows the outside curve.

  10. Step 10: Neck and jacket

Draw 2 short neck lines under the chin, then round shoulders down to a flat bottom. Add a U collar.

  11. Step 11: Neck bolts

On each side of the neck draw a bolt sticking out: a small box with a cap on the end.

  12. Step 12: Green skin

Colour the face, the ears and the neck green. Leave the eyes white.

  13. Step 13: Black hair

Colour the hair black and the jacket and bolts dark grey. Go over your lines and your Frankenstein is done!
