Print

  1. Step 1: The cookie

Draw a puffy crescent in the middle of your paper, points curling down and in. Pinch a dip on top.

Tip Like a fat rainbow with a dent on top.

  2. Step 2: The fold

From each point draw a curve that sweeps up and in to the middle dip.

  3. Step 3: The fortune

Sticking up out of the middle dip draw a slip of paper: a thin tilted rectangle.

  4. Step 4: Writing

On the slip draw 3 short lines for the tiny writing.

  5. Step 5: A shine

Near the top of the left bump draw a short curved line for a shine.

  6. Step 6: A plate

Behind the cookie draw a flat oval plate, wider than your hand. Draw a second oval inside for the rim.

  7. Step 7: Crumbs

Draw 3 tiny bumpy crumbs on the plate: 2 on the right and 1 on the left.

  8. Step 8: The table

Draw a table line under the plate, just touching its bottom.

  9. Step 9: Sky plate

Go over your lines. Colour the plate sky blue, around the cookie and the crumbs.

  10. Step 10: Tan cookie

Colour the cookie tan. Leave the paper slip white.

  11. Step 11: Brown crumbs

Colour the crumbs brown, and your fortune cookie is done!
