How to Draw a Heart Sandwich
Draw a heart sandwich in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top bread.
Step 1: The top bread
Draw a wide flat heart above the middle. Draw its thin side from the left edge across to the right.
Tip The thin side under the heart copies its bottom edge.
Step 2: Frilly lettuce
From the bottom left corner go down a little, draw a frilly line, and go up to the right corner.
Step 3: Cheese
From the left end of the lettuce draw a short line down, across under it, and up to the right.
Tip Only draw the cheese where it shows below the lettuce.
Step 4: The bottom bread
From the cheese's bottom left corner draw a short line down, across once more, and up to the right corner.
Step 5: A toothpick flag
Start at the dip of the heart. Draw a toothpick straight up, stopping a thumb above. Add a triangle flag.
Step 6: A plate
From the bottom bread's left side, draw a big round plate under the sandwich, up to the right side.
Step 7: Crumbs
Draw 3 tiny crumbs on the plate, far apart, one on the left and two on the right.
Step 8: Yellow cheese, sky plate
Go over your lines. Colour the cheese yellow, and the plate sky blue around the crumbs.
Step 9: Tan bread, green lettuce
Colour the top bread, its side and the bottom bread tan. Colour the lettuce green.
Step 10: Red flag, brown crumbs
Colour the flag red and the 3 crumbs brown. Your heart sandwich is ready!
