How to Draw a Flying Pig
Draw a flying pig in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top left, draw a big round head, a little wider than tall. Leave room on the right.
Tip The head is about as big as the body is deep.
Step 2: Two big eyes
A little above the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes, each with a black dot and shine.
Step 3: Snout and smile
Under the eyes, draw an oval snout with 2 nostrils. Under it, draw a little smile from nostril to nostril.
Step 4: Soft ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a soft triangle ear leaning out, with a smaller triangle inside.
Step 5: Bean body
From the back of the head, draw a bean body: a long back, a round bottom, up to the chin.
Step 6: One big wing
From behind the shoulders, draw a big wing up to a point. Come back down with 4 feather tips.
Tip The wing grows out of the shoulders, sitting right on the back line.
Step 7: Two fat legs
Stretch a fat leg forward from the chest and one back from the bottom, each with a round trotter.
Tip A flying pig stretches out like a galloper, trotters in the air.
Step 8: Far legs
Behind each fat leg, draw a far leg peeking out from the body down to its trotter.
Step 9: Curly tail
On the top corner of the bottom, draw a little curly tail, like a small spring curling up and round.
Step 10: Puffy cloud
Well under the trotters, draw a small puffy cloud with big round bumps on top and small ones underneath.
Tip Leave a gap between the trotters and the cloud, so the pig is flying.
Step 11: Peach and blue
Colour the snout and ear insides peach, and the cloud pale blue. Leave the eyes and wing white.
Step 12: Colour it pink
Go over your lines. Colour the pig pink, around the snout, ear insides and eyes.
