How to Draw a Fairy Face
Draw a fairy face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big egg head, narrower at the chin, in the upper middle of your paper.
Tip Leave room all round it for the bun, ears, shoulders and wings.
Step 2: Big eyes and lashes
Below the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes with black dots. Flick a tiny eyelash off each.
Step 3: Nose, smile and cheeks
Draw a tiny nose below the eyes, a wide smile, 2 eyebrows and 2 round cheeks.
Step 4: Pointed ears
Draw a pointy ear on each side, level with the eyes, starting on the head and coming back to it.
Step 5: Hair and fringe
Draw the hair up over the head from ear to ear, then a curved fringe across the forehead.
Step 6: Bun and flower
Draw a round bun on top of the hair, and a little 5-petal flower on the right of the hair.
Step 7: Neck and dress
Draw a neck under the chin. From it, slope the shoulders down to a flat bottom, dipping at the collar.
Step 8: Fairy wings
Behind each shoulder, draw a wing: a big round teardrop rising beside the ear, and a small one under it.
Step 9: Yellow hair, peach skin
Colour the hair, bun and flower middle yellow. Colour the face, ears and neck peach, around the cheeks.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Sky-blue wings
Colour both wings sky blue, right up to the shoulders and the sides of the dress.
Step 11: Pink dress and cheeks
Colour the dress, the flower petals and the cheeks pink. Go over your lines and your fairy is done.
