How to Draw an Electric Mouse

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw an electric mouse in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Round head

Near the top draw a big round head, fuller at the bottom than the top, with a cheek each side.

Tip Keep the bottom one smooth round curve, like a bowl.

  2. Step 2: Two round ears

High on each side of the head draw a big round ear like a cookie, with a smaller circle inside.

  3. Step 3: Two shiny eyes

Above the cheeks, draw 2 big round eyes, one eye apart. Fill them black and leave a white shine.

  4. Step 4: Tiny nose

Under the eyes, draw a tiny triangle nose. From its point, draw a short line down, stopping after a finger.

  5. Step 5: Smile and red cheeks

From the bottom of that line, draw a little smile out each side. Draw a round circle on each cheek.

  6. Step 6: Small round body

Start under the left cheek. Draw a round cushion body down and back up to the right cheek.

Tip No neck. Keep the body narrower than the cheeks.

  7. Step 7: Arms and paws

From under each cheek, draw a short arm that bends in to a round paw on the tummy.

Tip Add 2 tiny toe lines on each paw.

  8. Step 8: Big feet

Draw a ground line under the body. Draw a big plump foot at each bottom corner, with 2 toe lines.

  9. Step 9: Lightning tail

Start behind the right foot. Zigzag a fat lightning bolt up past the cheek, then back down to the head.

Tip Make the bolt about as wide as an eye, with a flat top.

  10. Step 10: Yellow all over

Colour the mouse yellow all over, around the cheeks, ear insides and nose. Leave the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Red cheeks, pink ears

Colour the two round cheeks red, the insides of the ears pink and the tiny nose black.
