How to Draw a Sorry Text

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a sorry text in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: s and o.

Print

  1. Step 1: S and O

Below the middle start writing SORRY in fat bubble letters: a fat S, then an O with a hole.

  2. Step 2: Two Rs

Then 2 fat Rs, each a stem with a round bump, a hole and a leg.

  3. Step 3: The Y

Finish with a fat Y on the right.

  4. Step 4: A little heart

Above the middle of the words draw a little heart: 2 round bumps on top, a point below.

  5. Step 5: Two big eyes

On the heart draw 2 big round eyes close together. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a white speck.

  6. Step 6: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a tiny sideways oval beside each end for rosy cheeks.

  7. Step 7: Sparkles

Draw 4 sparkle stars along the top, above the words.

  8. Step 8: The floor

Draw a straight floor line under the words from edge to edge, so the letters stand on it.

  9. Step 9: Yellow and pink

Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.

  10. Step 10: Red heart

Colour the heart red around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Purple SORRY

Colour the letters of SORRY purple, keeping inside their outlines. Your SORRY sign is done!
