How to Draw an Easter Pug

14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw an Easter pug in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Wide head

Near the top, a little to the left, draw a wide soft head with a flat top and fat cheeks.

Tip Leave room above for bunny ears and on the right for an egg.

  2. Step 2: Folded ears

On each top corner of the head, draw a small flap ear folding down over the side.

Tip Rub out the head line inside each ear.

  3. Step 3: Big round eyes

In the middle of the head, draw 2 big round eyes far apart, with black dots and white shines.

  4. Step 4: Snout and nose

Under the eyes draw an oval snout with a nose inside. From the nose, curve down to a w smile.

  5. Step 5: Two wrinkles

On the forehead, draw 2 curved wrinkle lines: a long one on top and a short one below.

  6. Step 6: The headband

Across the top of the head, between the folded ears, draw a thin curved band with round ends.

Tip Rub out the head line inside the band.

  7. Step 7: Bunny ears

Standing on the band, draw 2 tall bunny ears with round tips. Draw a thin leaf shape inside each.

  8. Step 8: Sitting body

From under each cheek, curve a line down and out to the ground. Join them along the bottom.

  9. Step 9: Front legs

From the chin, draw 2 legs down to round paws, with a gap between. Add 2 toe lines on each.

Tip Each leg gets a little thinner just above the paw.

  10. Step 10: Back paws and tail

Add a hill paw with 2 toe lines at each bottom corner. From the left hip, curl a thin-tipped tail.

Tip Rub out the body line inside each paw.

  11. Step 11: Egg and ground

Draw a ground line under the paws. On the right, stand 1 egg with 2 stripes across it.

Tip Each stripe is 2 curved lines from side to side.

  12. Step 12: Pink and yellow

Colour the band, the ear middles and the 2 egg stripes pink. Colour the rest of the egg yellow.

  13. Step 13: Sandy fur

Colour the head, body, legs, paws and tail sand, around the snout and folded ears. Leave the eyes white.

  14. Step 14: Dark mask and ears

Colour the snout and 2 folded ears dark grey and the nose black. Leave the bunny ears white.
