Print

  1. Step 1: Floor and side

On a floor line draw the side: a low straight slope from the front tip up to a round-cornered hood.

  2. Step 2: Scoop and hood

From the tip draw the front edge to the left, then up over the hood, stopping at the back.

Tip The far edge is the same shape as the side, moved a little left and up.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the side of the hood draw 2 big egg eyes, each with a big black dot and a shine.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a small oval cheek beside each end.

  5. Step 5: Inside lines

From the left corner draw a flat line right, stopping at the side. Join the 2 front hood corners.

  6. Step 6: The handle

From the back of the hood draw a long thin handle, tilted a little up, with a round end.

  7. Step 7: Hanging hole

Near the round end of the handle draw a small circle for the hanging hole.

  8. Step 8: Dust crumbs

On the floor in front of the scoop draw 2 little dust crumbs, one big and one small.

  9. Step 9: Sky blue scoop

Go over your lines. Colour the inside of the scoop sky blue.

  10. Step 10: Pink cheeks, grey dust

Colour the cheeks pink and the dust crumbs grey.

  11. Step 11: Blue hood and side

Colour the side and the hood top blue around the cheeks, leaving the eyes white.

  12. Step 12: Red handle

Colour the handle red, leaving the hanging hole white, and your dustpan is ready to sweep!
