How to Draw a Doorbell Button
Draw a doorbell button in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the plate.
Step 1: The plate
A little right of the middle, draw a tall box with soft corners for the doorbell plate.
Step 2: The button
In the plate, a little below the middle, draw a big round button.
Step 3: Happy face
On the button draw 2 big egg eyes with black dots, a wide U smile and 2 small cheeks.
Step 4: The glow ring
Round the button draw a circle a little bigger, for the ring of light.
Step 5: Glow rays
Above the ring, inside the plate, draw 3 short dashes pointing out, for the glow.
Step 6: The door
Left of the plate, draw a tall door box, from near the top of the paper to near the bottom.
Step 7: Panel and knob
Inside the door draw a tall panel box near the left edge, and a round knob to its right.
Step 8: Sound marks
To the right of the plate draw two curved lines, one inside the other, like brackets, for the ringing sound.
Step 9: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a straight ground line underneath, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines. Colour the glow ring and the doorknob yellow, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Wood door, grey plate
Colour the door wood brown around the knob, and the plate grey around the ring.
Step 12: Red button
Colour the button red around the cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Your doorbell is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a doorbell button, drawn by you.
