How to Draw a Doctor Bag
Draw a doctor bag in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bag.
Step 1: The bag
Low on your paper draw a wide bag: a straight top, sides leaning out, and a rounded bottom.
Tip Leave room above for the rounded top and the handle.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
Low on the bag draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The rounded top
Start at the top left corner of the bag. Draw a low hump over, stopping at the top right corner.
Step 5: Clasp and seam
In the middle of the hump draw a small box for the clasp. Add a light line under the top.
Step 6: The handle
Start left of the clasp. Draw an arch up and over, stopping right of the clasp. Add an arch inside.
Step 7: A red cross
Above the face draw a fat plus sign as one shape, like 2 crossed bars.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 4 little sparkles in the air around the bag.
Step 9: A table line
Draw a table line under the bag from left to right.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red cross, gold clasp
Colour the plus sign red and the clasp yellow like gold.
Step 12: Brown bag and handle
Colour the bag and handle brown around the face, cross and clasp. Leave the eyes white. Your bag is ready!
