How to Draw a DJ
Draw a DJ in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave the lower half of the page for the music deck.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 small oval eyes with a dot and shine. Add a tiny U nose, a smile and 2 eyebrows.
Step 3: Soft hair cap
Start on the left side of the head. Draw soft tufts over the top and stop on the right.
Step 4: Headphones
Over the hair, draw a thick band from ear to ear. Put a big cup on each end.
Step 5: Neck and T-shirt
Add 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw the T-shirt: shoulder, sleeve, down, across, and up to the right.
Step 6: Arms and hands
From each sleeve, draw the arm down beside the body. Add a flat mitten hand pointing in.
Step 7: The deck
Under the hands, draw a long box with a flat top. Draw a flat oval record under each hand.
Step 8: Table legs and trousers
From each end of the deck, draw 2 lines straight down to the ground. Draw trouser legs between them.
Step 9: Sneakers and ground
Under each leg, draw a sneaker with the toe pointing out. Then draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour pink cheeks. Colour the face, neck, arms and hands peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Purple shirt, red headphones
Colour the shirt purple, and the headphones red.
Step 12: Blue jeans, brown hair
Colour the trousers blue, the hair brown around the headphones, and leave the sneakers white.
Step 13: Grey deck, black records
Colour the deck and legs grey, and the records black with a white dot, around the arms and hands.
