How to Draw a Desk Organizer
Draw a desk organizer in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tray.
Step 1: The tray
A little below the middle draw a long low box, wide and flat, sitting on the ground.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the tray's front, left of the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: Top and side
Slant 2 lines up right from the top corners, join them, and close the side down to the bottom corner.
Step 5: The dividers
Inside the top draw 2 slanted lines from the back edge to the front, splitting the tray into 3 pockets.
Step 6: Pencils
Draw 3 pencils down into the left pocket, each a thin box with a sharp tip. Colour each point black.
Step 7: Paper clip
In the middle pocket draw a paper clip lying flat, a long loop with a smaller loop inside.
Step 8: Note pad
In the right pocket draw a square note pad going down inside, with a top strip and 2 short lines.
Step 9: Ground line
Start near the left edge and draw a straight ground line under the tray, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 11: Yellow pad, tan tips
Colour the sparkles yellow, and the note pad yellow below its strip. Colour the strip and pencil tips tan.
Step 12: Sky top, pink cheeks
Colour the tray top sky blue, around the pad and pencils, and the cheeks pink.
Step 13: Teal tray, red pencils
Colour the pencils red. Colour the tray front and side teal, around the face. Leave the eyes white.
