How to Draw a Dentist
Draw a dentist in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and ears.
Step 1: Head and ears
Near the top, draw an egg head. Add a C ear each side, starting and ending on the head.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
In the middle of the head draw 2 eyes, a little nose under them and a smile.
Tip Give each eye a black dot with a tiny white shine.
Step 3: Scrub cap
Draw a cap over the top of the head, just outside the head line, with a curve across the forehead.
Step 4: Neck and coat
Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. From them draw a long coat with round shoulders, down to the hips.
Step 5: Coat front and badge
From each neck line, slant down to a V, then straight down to the hem. Add a tooth badge.
Step 6: Long sleeves
From each shoulder draw a long sleeve down to a cuff. Bend the left one in at the elbow.
Tip Rub out the coat lines inside the sleeves.
Step 7: Mitten hands
Draw a mitten hanging from the right cuff. Draw another pointing in from the left cuff, with a thumb bump.
Step 8: Big toothbrush
From the left hand draw a handle up to a rounded head. Add 3 bristle bumps on its left side.
Step 9: Trousers and shoes
From the coat hem draw 2 trouser legs down to a shoe each. Add a ground line under the shoes.
Step 10: White coat, teal cap
Leave the coat, sleeves, badge and bristles white. Colour the cap and the shirt between the lapels teal.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, ears, neck and hands peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Toothbrush, trousers, shoes
Colour the toothbrush blue, the trousers grey and the shoes black. Go over your lines and your dentist is done.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a dentist, drawn by you.
