How to Draw a Christmas Bear
Draw a Christmas bear in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
In the middle of your paper, draw a big head wider than tall, like a sideways egg.
Tip Leave lots of room above the head for the hat.
Step 2: Round ears
On each top corner of the head draw a round ear. Add a small circle inside each one.
Tip Each ear starts and stops on the head line.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 big round eyes close together, with black dots and shines.
Step 4: Snout and smile
Under the eyes draw a wide snout with a black nose. Start at the nose, draw down to a smile.
Tip The oval pokes a little past the chin.
Step 5: Fur band
Across the top of the head, draw a long fat sausage. Rub out the lines inside it.
Tip This is the fluffy white edge of a Santa hat.
Step 6: Floppy hat
Start at the band's right end. Draw a tall hill flopping over to the left, then back to the band.
Step 7: Pom-pom
On the droopy tip of the hat, draw a round pom-pom. Rub out the point inside it.
Step 8: Round belly
Start under the left cheek. Draw a big pear body, widest low down, and stop under the right cheek.
Tip The body is narrower than the head.
Step 9: Warm scarf
Under the chin draw a fat curved scarf from cheek to cheek. Hang one end down with a stripe.
Step 10: Arms and paws
Start under each end of the scarf. Draw an arm down the side to a round paw, then back up.
Tip The arm gets thinner at the wrist. Rub out the body line inside it.
Step 11: Hips and feet
Halfway down each side draw a round hip and a flat loaf foot with 3 toe lines. Add the ground.
Step 12: Tan and red
Colour the snout and ear circles tan. Colour the hat red, and leave the fur band white.
Step 13: Green scarf
Colour the scarf green, both the curved part and the hanging end.
Step 14: Colour it brown
Colour the head, ears, body, arms, hips and feet brown, around the tan parts. Leave the eyes white.
