How to Draw Chocolate Ice Cream

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw chocolate ice cream in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cone.

Print

  1. Step 1: The cone

Start below the middle. Draw 2 long lines sloping down and in to meet at a round tip.

Tip Like a long narrow V with a round bottom.

  2. Step 2: Big scoop

On the cone draw a big round scoop, wider than the cone, with a wavy drippy bottom hanging over it.

  3. Step 3: Second scoop

On top of it draw a smaller round scoop the same way, its drippy bottom tucked behind the big scoop.

  4. Step 4: Cherry on top

Draw a round cherry on top. Start on its top and draw a thick curved stem up to a leaf.

  5. Step 5: Waffle criss-cross

On the cone draw slanting lines from edge to edge, 3 one way and 3 the other, so they criss-cross.

  6. Step 6: Chocolate chips

Dot 7 tiny rounds on the scoops for chocolate chips, spread about, none touching.

  7. Step 7: A drip

Start on the wavy lip near the left end. Draw a long drip down the cone, then back up.

  8. Step 8: Tan cone

Colour the cone tan, around the drip, right down to the round tip.

  9. Step 9: Brown scoops, dark chips

Colour both scoops and the drip brown, around the chips. Then fill the chips in dark.

  10. Step 10: Red cherry, green leaf

Colour the cherry red, leaving a little white shine, and colour the leaf green.
