How to Draw a Chile Flag
Draw a chile flag in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the flag pole.
Step 1: The flag pole
On the left draw a tall thin pole from near the bottom to near the top.
Step 2: Ball on top
Put a small round ball on the very top of the pole.
Step 3: Top and side
Start on the pole below the ball. Draw a wavy line right, then straight down. Stop just past halfway down.
Tip Make the flag wide: it is one and a half times as long as it is tall.
Step 4: Bottom edge
Start at the bottom of the straight side. Draw a wavy line back to the pole.
Tip The bottom edge copies the waves of the top edge.
Step 5: The middle line
Start on the pole, halfway down the flag. Draw a wavy line across to the right side.
Tip Now the flag has 2 bands of the same height.
Step 6: The square
Start on the top edge, a third of the way along. Draw straight down and stop at the middle line.
Tip The corner box by the pole is a square: as wide as it is tall.
Step 7: One star
In the middle of the square draw 1 star with 5 points. Leave room all around it.
Tip Start with the top point, then make all 5 points the same size.
Step 8: Ground line
Draw a long flat ground line under the pole, from the left side to the right side.
Step 9: Yellow ball
Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow.
Step 10: Grey pole
Colour the pole grey.
Step 11: Red bottom band
Colour the whole bottom band red. Leave the top band white.
Step 12: Blue square
Colour the square blue around the star. Leave the star white. Go over your lines.
Tip Your Chile flag is waving!
