How to Draw a Chicken Wing
Draw a chicken wing in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wing.
Step 1: The wing
Across the middle draw a bent wing as wide as your hand: a fat left lump, a flatter right lump.
Tip Dip in a little where the 2 lumps meet.
Step 2: The fold
Draw a curved line across the dip in the middle, from the top edge down to the bottom edge.
Step 3: The bone
From the left lump draw a short bone poking out to the left: 2 close lines like a tiny stick.
Step 4: The knuckle
On the end of the bone draw a knobbly knuckle: 2 little round bumps with a dip between them.
Step 5: A celery stick
In front of the wing draw a thin celery stick lying flat, with round ends and a line along it.
Step 6: A plate
Behind it all draw a big flat oval plate, skipping where it crosses the food.
Step 7: The rim
Inside the plate draw a second, smaller oval for the rim, skipping where it crosses the food.
Step 8: The table
Draw a line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Cream bone, sky plate
Go over your lines. Colour the bone and knuckle cream, and the plate sky blue around the food.
Step 10: Ginger wing
Colour the wing ginger.
Step 11: Green celery
Colour the celery green, and your chicken wing is done!
