How to Draw a Chibi Panda
Draw a chibi panda in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big wide head.
Step 1: Big wide head
Near the top, draw a big head like an egg on its side, much wider than tall.
Tip A chibi head is about half of the whole panda.
Step 2: Round ears
Draw a round ear on each top corner of the head.
Tip Half of each ear hides behind the head.
Step 3: Eye patches
Draw 2 big egg patches halfway down the head. They lean in at the top.
Step 4: Big shiny eyes
Inside each patch, draw a round eye. Colour a black pupil with 2 shines in it.
Tip Leave the eyes white around the pupils.
Step 5: Nose and smile
Between the patches, a little lower, colour a small black nose. Draw a short line down and a W smile.
Step 6: Tiny body
Under the head, draw a small round body. It hides behind the chin.
Tip Keep the body much smaller than the head.
Step 7: Two arms
From under each cheek, draw a short fat arm hanging down to a round paw.
Tip Fat at the shoulder, thinner at the paw.
Step 8: Shoulder band
Start at one arm. Draw a sagging curve across the chest and stop at the other arm.
Step 9: Two feet
At the bottom of the body, draw 2 round bun feet pointing out to the sides.
Step 10: Grass line
Draw a long straight line under the feet, from the far left to the far right.
Step 11: Pink and green
Colour 2 round cheeks pink. Colour the grass under the line green.
Step 12: Black fur
Colour the ears, eye patches, arms, shoulder band and feet black. Leave the head and tummy white.
Tip Press softly near the eyes so they stay white.
