How to Draw a Chibi Cow
Draw a chibi cow in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: huge round head.
Step 1: Huge round head
Near the top draw a huge round head, much wider than tall, with soft corners.
Tip A chibi head is bigger than the whole body.
Step 2: Horns and ears
On top draw 2 short curved horns. Under each horn draw a leaf ear pointing out, with a leaf inside.
Step 3: Big gentle eyes
Halfway down the head draw 2 huge oval eyes. In each add a ring, a black dot and 2 shines.
Tip Huge shiny eyes make it chibi.
Step 4: Wide muzzle
Across the bottom of the head draw a wide oval muzzle. Add 2 nostrils and a smile inside.
Tip The muzzle hangs a little below the chin.
Step 5: Tubby body
Start under one cheek. Draw a round little body down and across, up to the other cheek.
Step 6: Front legs
From under the muzzle draw 2 short legs down to wide hooves. Draw a line across each hoof.
Tip Each leg gets thinner, then widens into the hoof.
Step 7: Back hooves
Beside each front leg draw a small bun hoof, tucked behind it. Add a short split in all 4.
Step 8: Swishy tail
Start low on the right side. Draw a thin tail curling up to a brush tuft.
Step 9: Black patches
Draw a big wavy patch on the head and one on the body. Colour them and the tuft black.
Tip Each patch starts and ends on the outline.
Step 10: Ground line
Draw a flat ground line under the hooves, from the left to the right.
Step 11: Pink muzzle
Colour the muzzle and the inside of each ear pink, around the nostrils.
Step 12: Sandy horns
Colour the 2 horns a sandy yellow.
Step 13: Brown eyes and hooves
Colour the eye rings and the 4 hooves brown. Leave the rest of the cow white. Done!
