How to Draw a Cereal Bowl
Draw a cereal bowl in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little above the middle draw a wide flat oval, as wide as your hand.
Tip You look down into the bowl a little, so the top is an oval.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big deep U and stop at the right end.
Step 3: Foot and table
Start under the bowl, go down, across and up to it. Draw a long table line under the stand.
Step 4: The milk
Inside the rim draw a second flat oval, a finger inside it, for the milk.
Step 5: Cereal rings
On the milk draw 3 little flat ovals for cereal rings, spread about.
Step 6: More rings
Add 2 more little ovals in the gaps, none touching.
Step 7: Berries
Dot 3 small round berries on the milk between the rings, none touching.
Step 8: A spoon
On the milk draw a small oval spoon bowl. Draw a handle from it, up and left over the rim.
Step 9: A stripe
Start on the left under the rim. Draw a bowed stripe round the bowl and stop on the right.
Step 10: Sky stripe
Go over your lines. Colour the band between the rim and the stripe sky blue. Leave the rest white.
Step 11: Tan rings
Colour the cereal rings tan, leaving a little white hole in the middle of each.
Step 12: Red berries
Colour the berries red.
Step 13: Grey spoon
Colour the spoon grey. Done!
