How to Draw a Cash Register
Draw a cash register in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the display box.
Step 1: The display box
Above the middle of your paper, a little left, draw a box with rounded top corners for the display.
Step 2: The screen
Inside the display draw a smaller box, a finger in from every side. That is the screen.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
In the screen draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The body
Under the display draw a wider box for the body, with sides that slope out toward the bottom.
Step 6: Drawer and ground
Under the body draw a flat drawer with a round knob. Draw a ground line across under it.
Step 7: Keys and button
On the body's left draw 3 rows of 3 round keys. Add a wide flat button on the right.
Step 8: The receipt
Right of the display draw a receipt curling up out of the body, with a zigzag top and 2 lines.
Step 9: Coins and sparkles
Right of the drawer draw 2 coins standing on the ground. Add 3 small sparkles in the air.
Step 10: Yellow keys
Colour the 9 keys, the big button and the knob yellow.
Step 11: Yellow coins, cream receipt
Colour the coins yellow and the receipt cream.
Step 12: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink, and your cash register is ready to ring up a sale!
Step 13: Teal register
Colour the display, body and drawer teal around the keys, button and knob. Leave the screen and eyes white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a cash register, drawn by you.
