How to Draw a Cargo Drone
Draw a cargo drone in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
In the middle of your paper, draw 1 chunky rounded box lying down, wider than tall, with big soft corners.
Tip About a third as wide as the paper. Leave room all round.
Step 2: Big eyes
In the middle of the body, draw 2 big round eyes with a small gap. Add black dots and shines.
Tip Together the eyes fill half the body.
Step 3: Smile
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile and stop under the right eye.
Step 4: Two near arms
From each upper side of the body, draw a thick straight arm out and up. Add a round pod.
Step 5: Two blades
On top of each pod, draw a long flat blade lying across it, a little longer than the arm.
Step 6: Two far arms
From the top of the body, draw a shorter arm up behind each near arm, with a smaller pod.
Tip A drone has 4 arms. The far two look smaller, further away.
Step 7: Straps and the box
From the body's bottom, draw 2 short straps down to a big box. Add a tape band down its middle.
Step 8: Whirl lines
Beside each blade, draw 2 short curved whirl lines in the air to show it spinning.
Step 9: Clouds
Draw 2 puffy clouds, one high left and one low right, each 3 bumps over a flat line.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, orange body
Go over your lines. Colour a pink cheek under each eye, then the body orange around the eyes and cheeks.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey arms, tan tape
Colour all 4 arms grey, and the tape band tan.
Step 12: Dark blades, brown box
Colour the blades and pods dark grey, and the box brown around the tape. Ready to deliver!
