How to Draw a Calculator
Draw a calculator in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the calculator.
Step 1: The calculator
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box with rounded corners, almost twice as tall as wide.
Step 2: The screen
Near the top draw a wide short box inside the body for the screen.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the screen draw 2 big egg eyes, 1 eye-width apart. Add a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye, and a little oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: Top keys
Under the screen draw a row of 3 little rounded buttons, and another row under that.
Tip Keep the buttons the same size and lined up like soldiers.
Step 6: Bottom keys
Draw 2 more rows of 3 buttons under them, so there are 12 buttons in all.
Step 7: Plus, minus, equals
On the bottom row draw a plus on the left, a minus in the middle, an equals on the right.
Step 8: Sparkles and desk
Add 4 sparkles in the air, and a straight desk line under the calculator.
Step 9: Cream buttons
Go over your lines, then colour the buttons cream, all but the equals button.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, orange equals
Colour the cheeks pink and the equals button orange.
Step 11: Green screen
Colour the screen pale green around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Slate body
Colour the body dark slate, around the screen and the buttons. Time to add it up!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a calculator, drawn by you.
