How to Draw a Cabinet
Draw a cabinet in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cabinet.
Step 1: The cabinet
A little below the middle draw a wide box with soft corners, a bit wider than it is tall.
Step 2: The counter
Across the top draw a thin flat bar poking out a little on both sides, for the countertop.
Step 3: Drawers and doors
Draw a line across near the top and a line down from its middle: 2 drawers over 2 doors.
Step 4: Drawer fronts
Inside each drawer draw a long flat box, and a small flat handle in the middle of each.
Step 5: Door panels
Inside each door draw a tall box for the panel, leaving room by the middle line for a handle.
Step 6: Door handles
Halfway down the doors, draw a tall thin handle on each side of the middle line.
Step 7: The base
Under the cabinet draw a long flat box, tucked in a little from each side, for it to stand on.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a ground line under the base, from well left to well right.
Step 9: Two sparkles
Up on each side of the cabinet, draw a small sparkle star.
Step 10: Cream and sand
Go over your lines. Colour the drawer fronts and door panels cream, then the frame around them sand.
Step 11: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 2 sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Wood counter and base
Colour the countertop, base and handles wood brown, and your cabinet is ready for the kitchen!
