14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw a jumping bunny in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: soft head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Soft head

On the left, near the top, draw a soft round head, a bit wider at the cheeks.

Tip Leave room above it for the long ears.

  2. Step 2: Long ears

On top of the head draw 2 long ears leaning back. Add a thin leaf inside the front one.

  3. Step 3: Shiny eyes

Draw 2 round eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a tiny shine.

Tip Leave the rest of each eye white.

  4. Step 4: Nose and smile

Draw a small round nose. Start under it, draw a short line down, and stop with a wide W smile.

  5. Step 5: Stretched body

Start behind the head. Draw a long back sloping down, a round end, and a belly back to the chin.

Tip A hopping bunny stretches out long.

  6. Step 6: Front leg

Start on the chest. Draw a leg reaching forward and down with a round paw. Stop on the belly.

  7. Step 7: Other front leg

Draw one more front leg peeking out just ahead of the first, with its own round paw.

  8. Step 8: Big back leg

On the round end draw a big round thigh. Stretch it into a long foot kicked out behind.

Tip The back legs are much bigger than the front ones.

  9. Step 9: Second back foot

Under the long foot draw one more long foot, peeking out from behind the thigh.

  10. Step 10: Fluffy tail

On top of the round end draw a small fluffy tail with soft bumps.

  11. Step 11: Toe lines

Draw 2 short toe lines on the tip of each paw and each foot.

  12. Step 12: The ground

Draw a long straight ground line that just touches the tip of the lowest back foot.

Tip The bunny is pushing off for a big hop.

  13. Step 13: Pink bits

Colour the nose and the inside of the front ear pink.

  14. Step 14: Grey fur

Colour all the fur grey, around the eyes. Leave the eyes and the fluffy tail white.
