How to Draw a Bubble Letter U
Draw a bubble letter U in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big u.
Step 1: The big U
In the middle of your paper draw a fat bubble U: 2 tall sides joined by a round bottom.
Tip Bubble letters are fat and rounded, like balloons, with no sharp corners.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the bottom of the U draw 2 round eyes, not touching. Add a black dot and a shine.
Step 3: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 4: Left sparkles
On the left of the letter draw 2 sparkle stars, 1 higher and 1 lower.
Step 5: Right sparkles
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 6: The floor
Draw a straight floor line under the U, from below the left sparkles to below the right ones.
Step 7: A shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow on the floor under the U. Rub out the floor line inside it.
Step 8: Yellow sparkles
Go over your lines, then colour the 4 sparkle stars yellow.
Step 9: Grey shadow
Colour the shadow under the U grey.
Step 10: Green letter U
Colour the whole U green, leaving the eyes white. Your bubble letter U is done!
