Draw a speech bubble in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bubble.
Step 1: The bubble
In the upper middle, draw a big box with very round corners. Add a pointed tail at the bottom left.
Tip Like a rounded box with a tongue sticking out of the bottom left.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the bubble, a little above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes with a black dot and white shine.
Step 3: A wide smile
Under the eyes, in the middle, draw a wide U smile.
Step 4: Two cheeks
Below the outside of each eye, draw a small flat oval cheek.
Step 5: A heart
In the top right corner of the bubble, away from the eyes, draw a little heart.
Step 6: Shine
In the top left corner of the bubble, draw 1 short curve following the corner, for the shine.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars round the bubble.
Step 8: Yellow sparkles, pink cheeks
Colour the 3 sparkles yellow and the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 9: Sky bubble
Colour the big bubble sky blue, going around the eyes, cheeks and heart. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Red heart
Colour the little heart red, and your speech bubble is ready to talk!
