How to Draw Broccoli
Draw broccoli in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bumpy top.
Step 1: The bumpy top
Near the top of your paper draw a big bumpy cloud, wider than tall, for the broccoli top.
Tip About 11 soft bumps, like a cloud.
Step 2: The stalk
From under the cloud, draw a thick stalk down to a flat cut bottom and back up to the cloud.
Tip Keep the bottom flat and straight, not spread out like a tree trunk.
Step 3: Branches
From the top of the stalk draw 3 lines up into the cloud, one left, one straight up, one right.
Step 4: Florets
On the end of each branch draw a little cloud with 4 round bumps over its top.
Step 5: More florets
Add 2 more little bumpy clouds higher up, one each side of the middle.
Step 6: Stalk lines
From where each side branch leaves the cloud, draw a long line down the stalk, stopping near the bottom.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a ground line under the flat bottom of the stalk, from well left to well right.
Step 8: Pale stalk
Go over your lines, then colour the stalk pale green.
Step 9: Leaf florets
Colour the 5 little florets leaf green.
Step 10: Green top
Colour the bumpy top green around the florets. Your broccoli is done!
